One of my favorite Asst Mgr at Rite Aid asked me to put together a list of free school supply items and where to find them - so below is my list:

This Week at Walgreens until midnight on 7/25:

They have a 4 pack of Bic Highlighters on sale for .49. Head over to coupons.com and print out a $1/2 on any Bic Stationery items. Use 1 coupon and purchase 2 packs of highlighters and you have FREE highlighters.

Let's have a quick lesson on rolling ECBs:
Transaction #1
Purchase 2 Caliber Compostion Books @ .99 ea = $1.98
Pay $1.98 plus tax out of pocket cost
Get back $1.98 in ECBs

Transaction #2
Purchase 2 CVS Erasers, Push Pins or Binder Clips @ .99 ea = $1.98
Hand the cashier the $1.98 ECB you just received from Trans #1
Total oop = $0.00
Get back $1.98 in ECBs

Transaction #3
Purchase next 2 items, etc... and keep going until all your items are purchased.

Your total oop will be the original $1.98 plus tax and you will have $1.98 to spend on your next purchase at CVS. What you have just done is called rolling ECBs.
