Wendy's Junior Frosty Coupon Booklets

It's that time of the year again! Pull up to a Wendy's near you and ask for their Junior Frosty coupon booklet. For $1, you get 10 coupons for free junior frosties. That's 10 cents per frosty! Some fellow couponers are reporting that they are only able to find the booklets with 5 coupons instead of 10. Still a good deal!

Coupons for the free frosties expire 2/2010. Think Halloween or Christmas stocking stuffers. Or just treat yourself!

I haven't looked for these yet. But it's going on my list this week!

In the ad for this week at Walgreens, you will find the Triaminic deal. Buy two and get $5 in register rewards. It's being reported that if you buy two, then two $5 rr print out instead of one. It works for the grape night time and the allergy strips. Great deal, but it gets even better. Pick up a Healthy Savings booklet and use 2 of the $2/1 Triaminic coupons and you've got yourself a money maker. Ask someone at Wags if you don't see the booklets.

Where O Where Have I Been?

I know you are all wondering where are the current deals and where have I been. Well yours truly turned 45 yesterday - and I took a few days away from the computer and coupons.

Let me share a couple of tips to save your sanity (it helps mine LOL)

You are never going to get every single deal - so don't try. Pick out the deals for items that you or your family can use and go after those deals. If you try to get every single deal that you find either on my blog or on the Internet you will get coupon burn out very fast. You have heard the old saying "the slow and the steady win the race", and in this case it is true. You will save more money and enjoy couponing more by focusing on the deals you can really use.

Tip #2: Seasoned couponers will tell you that every now and then they take a break from couponing. Take a week or two off from running around getting the deals. You will be surprised that you feel ready to tackle couponing again.

Remember these are things I do occasionally. I find it keeps me going and after all I needed a break to deal with getting older. LOL

I Have A "Thing" For Shoes!

I admit it - I run around in "flip-flops" or "thongs" shoes the entire summer and most of the fall especially with the heat here in Louisiana. I loaded up tonight on 6 pairs of these (2 for my son & 4 for me).

Walgreen's has them on clearance for 75% off making all 4 of mine $1.24 each. Now I could have waited for them to go even cheaper but I have a slight problem. I wear a size 10 or 11 in shoes so they tend to have only a few of these sizes. So I went ahead and grabbed them now.

Do You Need Some One-On-One Coupon Training?

This class is 1 1/2 - 2 hours long and will teach you the basics, including tips and tricks for becoming a successful couponer. We will even dive into "Extreme Couponing" so that you too can become a Coupon Queen.

Each guest will receive the Basic Coupon Packet which includes terminology, strategy, and even store policies. Door prizes are given.

I will teach the class but you will need to Host the class either in your home or even in your church. The Host or Hostess always attends the class for free. There should be a minimum of 5 guests and no more than 30. The class will need to be held in the evening from 7-8:30 or on a Saturday.

Dates are available for September and October but do book up fast as I try to limit my classes to 2 a month. I am available in the West Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge, Livingston, and Ascension Parish. I am also available for classes further out but in Louisiana but they must be scheduled for a Saturday.

Coupons.com Updated List of Coupons - 08/10/09

Weekly you will find updates on the available coupons at Coupons.com. Before you head off to type in coupons.com go to the right side of my blog and scroll down. You can access coupons.com from there and every time you do so from this blog - it helps me to keep this blog running.

There are usually about 80 coupons on average on the low side and many times well over that number. These coupons are on a first come, first serve basis. There is a maximum number of prints available for each coupon but that number is NOT published. If you find a coupon you want to use, print it while you can. The expiration dates on them is usually about 30 days from the day you print. Be aware that the high value coupons go quickly. Find local coupons by using your zip code. I will be using various zip codes to see what is available around the country. You will see that I use zip 92111 about 99% of the time. That is the zip where I find the largest number of coupons listed. YMMV (your millage may vary) when you use your own local zip code. These coupons print with an extremely tiny printed border. This helps to authenticate that these are not fraudulent.

When you cut, don't cut that portion off and trash it. These coupons are accepted at most stores. To make sure, check with your favorite store.
